Roy Keane was taken aback upon discovering the age of his former Manchester United teammate, Jaap Stam.
The Dutchman reunited with fellow ex-United players Gary Neville and Keane on the Stick to Football podcast, where Ian Wright and Jamie Carragher also made appearances in their regular slots.
Stam was the world's most expensive defender when he joined United from PSV for £10million in 1998, winning the treble under Alex Ferguson in his first season.
The podcast began with the former teammates engaging in a quick catch-up. As Stam settled in, Keane casually inquired about the former Netherlands international's age.
Stam nonchalantly revealed 🌳that he was 51, leaving Keane astonished.
The Irishman, who is a year older, was surprised and said "You're younger than me. Jesus."
