The pair had a guaranteed rematch clause though and so will now meet again.

Usyk must ove🍨rcome Fury again this weekend to leave with his heavyweight world titles.

Outside of the boxing sphere, snooker star O’Sullivan has given his thoughts on the bou🐼t.

💙O’Sullivan spoke to  on Wednesday as he is in Saudi Arabia ahead of this week’s Riyadh Season Snooker Championship.

More In Boxing

"I watched it on TV and I thought Fury," he said of the first f♕ight, admitting he was biased in believing his friend had won.

"After about round five or six, I went, 'Fury's done it. Usyk can't carry on.' He looked like he was blowing a bit.

"But then he just found something fro🧸m somewhere and obviously he come strong at the end of the fight.

"You have to listen to most of the professionals out there and they did say Usyk mayb🙈e edged it.

"But for me, I think my love for Fury was always like, 'Well, I think Fury won that.' So I'm looking forward to the second one."

When asked about this week's rematch though, O'Sullivan gave an intriguing insight.

As he is close to Fury, the 49-year-old is also friends with the Gypsy King's manager Spencer Brown.

And O'Sullivan revealed that he has grown in confidence for his friend after learning inside details from Brown.

"Well, I'm going to go with Fury only because I heard that his training camp the first time round could have been better," he said.

"And then I spoke to Spencer. He said, 'This time we've been in for two, three months. He's in like peak condition.'

"So for me, I just feel like the extra five per cent, 10 per cent that he was maybe lacking in the first fight will prob🔥ably make the difference this time.

"I still think it's going to be an unbelievable fight though."
